Dehler has carved out a strong position in the midsize performance-cruiser market, and that position has only been made all the stronger with the introduction of the sharp-looking, Judel/Vrolijk-designed Dehler 34. Price at time of publication $215,000

Gepubliceerd in Zeilen 2-2017. Het wateroppervlak schiet op tien centimeter onder de boordrand voorbij. De boot helt nog een paar centimeter verder en blijft dan stabiel liggen op één oor. Het gangboord blijft droog. De meters tonen een schijnbare windhoek van 25 graden bij een 6,8 knoop bootsnelheid! Zou hij dat over de andere boeg ook doen? En wat als er golven staan? De voorste twintig centimeter van het -(polyester) laminaatzeil kilt, maar de fok staat nog steeds prachtig. De roerdruk is minimaal en verleidt mij nog een graadje op te sturen. Als uit het niets begint de fok te klapperen. Ik heb m’n hand overspeeld en stuur snel weer af. De testboot, een nieuwe Dehler 34, is ons goedgezind en pakt de draad gewoon weer op.
